7.Uneven brake disc produces partial wear,resulting in high temperature smoke on one side of friction.


Brake pad high temperature will lead to what consequences?

High temperature of brake pad is easy to produce brake heat recession.The so-called brake thermal attenuation refers to the phenomenonof brake attenuation after the intense friction between brake disc and brake pad produces high temperature.


If the brake appears thermal recession,it will be unable to provide sufficient brake friction to extend the braking distance.If the temperature exceeds the limit,it will cause brake failure,which is not conducive to driving safety.


If the heat attenuation is serious, it is best to pull over immediately and wait for the brake system to cool down for a period of time before driving.


Can the high temperature brake pad be cooled with cold water?

Note that the brake pad id high temperature friction with the brake disc,that is to say, the brake disc is also in a high temperature state,this time is not allowed to use cold water to cool down,so it is easy to make the brake disc ina high temperature state in cold crack or even burst.
